To be eligible for a return:

Climate Care Statement

Hey it's our planet too!Universal 3D Prints (U3DP) and parent company Universal Additive Manufacturing & Prototyping Inc. (UAM&P Inc), are both committed to environmental stewardship. We recycle at every stage of our operation and actively work to reduce plastic waste. We avoid multicolor printing technology due to its excessive material and energy waste—our tests showed a single 60 gram print would generate over 196 grams of unnecessary waste and take nearly six times longer to produce. Instead, we support emerging recycling solutions and responsible production practices to minimize our environmental impact.

Here is what we are practicing every single day in our factory operations in plain words:

• 🌍Recycle all recyclable materials to include the shipping materials and packaging received with our raw material deliveries. We recycle the cardboard boxes and re-use packing paper for our shipping operations. We have never paid for wrapping/shipping paper doing this. Major win! 🏆
• 🌍Utilize cool build plates. New technology allows a specially coated build plate to offer strong adhesion at or close to room temperature. This means lower electricity usage (less A/C and less heater use), no more glue sticks, and a more comfortable factory—especially in the summer. 😍
• 🌍Recycle paper product labels when possible. ♻️
• 🌍Repair some defective production prints (U3DP only) and sell them for a bargain in our "adopt a 3D critter" bargain bin program for $3 or less each. Saves them from the landfill—a very successful paid recycling program for us. 🔧 💰
• 🌍Do e-documents and e-sign as much as possible. We rarely print on paper in our office. Saves electricity 💲, saves ink 💲, saves time 💲
• 🌍Rest our print farm during peak electricity demand periods to help reduce loads on the grid (and avoid higher peak pricing). 📈
• 🌍Work toward offering a warranty program to cut down on broken and discarded prints. For now, we encourage customers to return unwanted prints to our booths for recycling. Repairable products will be repaired at low cost or replaced as we reach this milestone—starting with the Dummy 13 action figure warranty program. 🤖 🔧
• 🌍Keep our machines maintained regularly to ensure they do not consume more energy than when new. Every little detail matters; saving the planet for us almost always also means saving money—a win win! 🏆
